Job Summary Responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversight, and management of Underground Crews performing Installation, Maintenance and Inspection projects. Assists the Project Manager in coordinating employee activities, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. Supports craft supervision in aligning worker activities with project goals. Essential Job Responsibilities Read and interpret project drawings. Apply OSHA safety requirements relevant to underground operations. Supervise daily work of employees. Support estimating effort through bid reviews and constructability analyses, including review of activity productions, crew makeup, equipment selection, and cost analysis. Forecast, generate, and manage schedules; provide project look‑ahead schedules to ensure manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and all resources are scheduled appropriately. Ensure all employees follow company safety and work rules and policies. Review job costs and overall performance with a focus on productivity. Plan on‑the‑job training for team members to maintain safety and quality. Collaborate with clients to create new opportunities for Loenbro. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Understand trench shoring and shoring methods. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience on industrial construction projects. Experience managing projects and leading crews of 12 or more personnel. Proficiency with industry‑standard scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training. Trench safety training. Background in underground installation of piping, trench excavation, and underground boring. Physical Demands and Work Environment External work environments; potential exposure to extreme temperatures. Manufacturing and industrial environments; confined spaces including tanks and vessels. Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors. Exposure to areas with limited visibility; climbing stairs and ladders into trenches and elevated platforms. Lifting 1–50 pounds.
