Veterinarian (DVM) –– Central Point, OR

A veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join its well-established general practice. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a collaborative, supportive environment with access to modern diagnostic tools and a diverse caseload. This role is ideal for veterinarians interested in general practice with exposure to wellness, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care

• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Provide preventive care, vaccinations, and wellness services
• Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures
• Conduct dental exams, cleanings, and treatments
• Manage urgent care cases as needed
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house labs
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible veterinary license
• Interest or experience in general practice
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Open to new graduates (mentorship available)
