Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Bariatric Outpatient Charlotte FT Days

Overview We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Outpatient Weight Management Clinic located at Atrium Health Pineville, Charlotte, NC. The RN will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care within a multidisciplinary bariatric surgical setting, supporting patients throughout their weight‑management journey. Key Responsibilities Initiate peripheral intravenous (IV) access for in‑clinic procedures. Conduct clinical triage of patient telephone inquiries. Coordinate prior authorizations for diagnostic studies and surgical interventions. Assist with pre‑operative and post‑operative patient flow by preparing and rooming patients for the surgeon. Perform nursing processes to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, and excellent communication skills to create the safest patient environment. Qualifications Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Minimum of 1 year RN experience (prior ambulatory experience preferred). Current BLS certification required; BSN preferred. Strong clinical judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to supporting patients. Position Details Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $35.50 – $53.25 per hour. Location Atrium Health Pineville Outpatient Weight Management Clinic, 10660 Park Rd., Suite 4400, Charlotte, NC.
