Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Neuro ICU setting, including Stroke, TBI, head injury, and Neurosurgery patients
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and monitor patients with EVDs and ICP monitoring devices
• Assist with and manage basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Support bolt and drain bedside placements in collaboration with Neurosurgery
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and Med/Surg ICU units, with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC
• Current NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with a Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background
• Strong neurological assessment skills required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing assignment preferred
• Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist
• Familiarity with EVD management and ICP monitoring
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt well to change
