Pulmonologist

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a full-time Pulmonologist to join their new Pulmonology service line in Beaumont, TX. This role involves establishing a dedicated pulmonology clinic and providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, including ICU, CCU, and Trauma services. The position offers an opportunity to stabilize and enhance pulmonology services within the community.

Practice Info

• Launching a new Pulmonology service line to enhance ICU, CCU, Trauma, and general pulmonology services
• Goal to open a dedicated pulmonology clinic
• Support both inpatient and outpatient care
• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Procedures Performed: Simple in-office procedures (e.g., spirometry); advanced procedures based on physician skillset (e.g., thoracentesis, bronchoscopy)
• EMR Systems: Epic

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call Type: ER and clinic call (both inpatient and outpatient)
• Critical care coverage handled by hospitalist group; ER call specific to pulmonology

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Pulmonology
• Preferably experienced
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
