Phlebotomist

Job Overview Our phlebotomists draw and prepare blood for medical testing, transfusions, or donations. Our team is trained to collect blood via venipuncture, capillary punctures, and vascular access devices (VADs). Locations We have the ability to be stationed in hospitals, clinics, outpatient care facilities, diagnostic laboratories, and blood donation centers across Ann Arbor, including Adult Inpatient areas, Ambulatory Outpatient areas, and the Children and Women’s Hospital. Qualifications High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Demonstrated customer service skills. Considerable experience in phlebotomy, including but not limited to work with pediatric patients. Phlebotomy certification or equivalent coursework. Demonstrated experience working in a team environment. Proficient in basic computer functions. Working Hours Operating hours depend on specific‑unit needs with dayshift, evening shift, and midnight shifts available. Most shifts require rotating weekends.
