This role blends hands-on front-end coding with UI/UX design sensibility — translating business and user needs into clean, usable, and fully accessible experiences — while ensuring high-quality delivery within established timelines. The engineer will also write technical design specifications, perform unit testing, and produce clear technical and design documentation. Strong collaboration with business stakeholders, customers, designers, and cross-functional technology teams is essential. The Client — a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to providing excellence and equity in education — manages a complex ecosystem of systems and applications that support students, educators, and institutions across multiple programs and services. Working within the Information Technology division and closely with Operations, UX, and business partners, this engineer will analyze existing interfaces and workflows and design scalable, reliable, and accessible solutions that improve usability, data quality, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a senior, hands-on engineer with strong front-end craft and a genuine passion for UI/UX and accessibility, paired with solid experience developing and supporting ASP.NET MVC applications using C# and SQL Server in a Windows environment.
