In this position, you will help plan, organize, and lead engaging activities that promote social interaction, physical well-being, and personal growth. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant and inclusive environment for all participants. Responsibilities Assist in planning and organizing daily activities and events for residents. Facilitate engaging group activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation. Provide one-on-one interaction and support to residents during activities. Set up and clean up activity areas, ensuring a safe and inviting environment. Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying needs and abilities. Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive activities program. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding activity schedules and resident needs. Assist in creating promotional materials for upcoming events and activities. Support residents during outings and special events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Monitor inventory and report any needs for supplies or equipment related to activities. Stay updated on new activity trends and techniques to enhance the program. Respect and maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times.
