Retail Sales Associate

DEFINITION

Retail sales staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service from the moment guests enter the store. They will build rapport with customers, make purchasing recommendations to guests, and provide an excellent experience. They will aid in keeping the sales floor and back room clean, well-stocked and organized.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies Excellent communication skills Cheerful working attitude Outstanding customer service skills Suggestive selling, maintain awareness of current policies, procedures and sales or promotions going on within the store. Ability to work a flexible schedule Must be knowledgeable about Fudpucker’s history, menu offerings, specials, promotions, entertainment schedules, and other matters about which guests may inquire upon. Communicates with management regarding customer observations and/or criticisms about Fudpucker's products and services. Ability to recognize and report security concerns or issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must possess excellent customer service skills including pleasant and friendly demeanor. Must be able to communicate with customers, management, and staff. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations. Open availability

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and other employees. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must have the ability to lift boxes frequently weighing up to 30 pounds and carry them up and down stairs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Fudpucker
