Maintenance Tech II

Essential Job Functions Respond to general maintenance service calls and complete tasks in a timely manner. Fill out and submit maintenance request forms when a task is completed. Perform general repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and public area work requests. Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Maintain technical logs and record relevant data as required. Promote positive public/employee relations and maintain a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment within the area of responsibility. Perform any other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or technical certificate with 1–3 years of experience in commercial/industrial plumbing or equivalent education/experience. Excellent hand/eye coordination, close vision, and ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics, plans, and drawings. Strong attention to detail with a focus on front‑of‑house areas including furniture, painting, wall covering, lighting, plumbing, and flooring. Work Environment Must be able to work in a smoking environment. Flexible scheduling required, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and carrying up to 100lb. Work may involve high or low precarious places, near fiberglass insulation, and under sinks or cabinets. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
