We take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and strong team culture.Position SummaryThe Painter / Powder Coater is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal products using liquid paint and/or powder coating processes. This role ensures that all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for painting or powder coating including sanding, cleaning, and maskingSet up and operate spray guns, powder coating equipment, and curing ovensMix, match, and apply paint or powder coatings according to product requirementsInspect parts for defects before and after coating; perform necessary touch-upsMonitor coating thickness, adhesion, and overall finish qualityProperly hang and remove parts from coating racks and conveyor systemsMaintain equipment, tools, and workstations to ensure safety and efficiencyFollow production schedules and meet established timelinesAdhere to all company safety policies, quality control standards, and manufacturing proceduresAssist with general shop duties as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1–2 years industrial painting or powder-coating experience preferredKnowledge of coating equipment, curing processes, and surface preparation techniquesAbility to read job orders, drawings, and quality requirementsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workCapable of frequently lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periodsAbility to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with electrostatic powder coating systemsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing practicesForklift certification or ability to become certifiedWhy Join Nailor IndustriesCompetitive wagesHealth, dental, and vision benefitsRetirement plan optionsPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for skill development and career growth Thermal Corp., a division of Nailor International
