Job Overview Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Every other Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.; alternating Monday and Friday 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Position: PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN – PART TIME Days (Every other Saturday/Sunday and rotating Monday/Friday) The Community Hospice – Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany offers a rewarding full‑time opportunity for a Patient Care Technician with experience in end‑of‑life care to work in a supportive relationship with other members of our health care team to provide compassionate care to hospice patients and to support their families/caregivers at our 14‑bed inpatient hospice program on the 5th Floor of St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. The Community Hospice provides a thorough orientation and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities Work directly with the health care team to provide compassionate care to hospice patients. Support families and caregivers of hospice patients. Compensation PCT Pay Range: $17.25 - $25.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location.
