Patient Service Representative

Clerical Support For Child Development Center/Pediatric Rehabilitation Program Provides clerical support for the programs and services associated with the Child Development Center/Pediatric Rehabilitation Program. Primary position responsibilities include completing intakes for Pediatric Rehabilitation and scheduling patients, maintaining daily Pediatric Rehabilitation Schedule, registering patients in Affinity, accurately entering Pediatric Rehabilitation charges, completing all insurance requirements, maintaining patient and treatment statistics, and assisting with other clerical support. Qualifications: Minimum education: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred: Certificate and/or advanced specialization or technical training in office management. Minimum years of experience (amount, type, and variation): Required: One to three years secretarial and customer service experience. Preferred: Exposure to a medical facility with experience in appointments, registration, insurance, and office budgets. Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities: Required: Telephone etiquette, organizational skills, ability to adjust and deal effectively with frequent interruptions and workload. Competent use of Microsoft Applications, ability to function independently, ability to problem-solve effectively, effective communication skills.
