Kirkpatrick Concrete North division serves Gadsden and surrounding areas, and we are looking for ready-mix truck drivers to join our family. With over 130 years of experience in the building materials industry, we are committed to our customers, our employees, and our communities.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the  safe  and  timely delivery  of ready-mix concrete to the customer. Job responsibilities include:

• Safety Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Customer Service Provide excellent customer service on job sites. Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers to ensure the best possible customer experience.
• Operations Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain a clean and serviceable truck. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Education  Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL A or B). Drivers must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. 
• Skills:



• Ability to operate heavy equipment with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
• Expect frequent walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pushing, pulling and climbing as part of your daily routine.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and overtime as needed.

• Current rates as of 1/1/2026:



• Single Coverage = $21.92 weekly
• Employee +1 = $42.69 weekly
• Family = $55.38 weekly





• Primary care physician co-pay is $20 per visit (In-Network)
