The main responsibility of the Warehouse Cycle Counter is to ensure the accuracy of all items within the Warehouse. In addition, the Warehouse Cycle Counter will also oversee the integrity of products, including, but not limited to, accounting for damaged products, date checking and rotating products.Our Values:Service: We will treat every customer like a beloved family member or friend and find a way to say "yes" to our customers. We will be quick to respond to our customers and use "Red Truck Service" when additional assistance is needed.Work ExperienceDuties/Responsibilities:Serve customers throughout the store locations while modeling Sendik's culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their businessReview nightly reports to confirm what items were selected; send paperwork and invoice to the stores as a confirmation of what items they should be receivingFollow the receiving schedule to confirm accurate cycle countDaily cycle counting of inventory and inputting information into spreadsheet.Confirm that all products are accurate, fresh, rotated and located in the correct areaRecord all returned products, place in correct areas and adjust inventory as neededRecord all damaged product and place on specific pallet designated for donationsReport any missing product to the Warehouse DirectorConfirm all orders to be delivered that evening and verify the quantityDeliver cycle counting reports to FinanceDaily operation of fork lift and pallet jackEnsure that all inbound and outbound freight is inspected for damages and refrigerated merchandise is at the correct temperature before receiving or shippingAssist with the training and mentoring of new associates in the Support CenterMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and proceduresAssist with all other duties as neededQualifications:Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of Warehouse equipmentCurrent certification in order to operate forklift, pallet jack, and rider. (Company will compensate if needed)Prior experience in inventory management is requiredPrior warehouse experience is preferredAbility to work in different temperature zones, including cold environments (i.e., coolers, freezers)Strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the teamStrong knowledge of local and state health, sanitation and safety regulationsAbility to work at a fast paced and efficient mannerAbility to quickly adapt to changing conditions, priorities and circumstancesAbility to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressureAbility to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities, under general supervisionExcellent time management, prioritization and organization skillsExcellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsProficient computer skills, working knowledge in Microsoft Office product suite and Google ProductsAbility to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 pounds
