Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Food Service Worker! As a Food Service Worker at MercyOne, you will perform routine assignments in kitchen, cafeteria, and on patient floors. Performs food preparation as required, operates cash register, and receives, stores, and rotates supplies. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, and culture of MercyOne. * Performs routine patient tray-line/cafeteria/dining room/catering assignments. * Food preparation as required. * Receives, stores and rotates supplies. * Operates cash register/credit card machines/dept software. Schedule: * Full-time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) * Varied shifts based on departmental needs * Weekend and holiday rotation required General Requirements: * Ability to read, basic language, basic math, basic reasoning ability. * Cashiering requires personal computer. * Ability to work with others and communicate courteously and clearly. Education: * High School diploma preferred but not required.
