Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 3 years of cardiovascular scrub experience for a high-acuity CVOR position at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Acute care hospital CVOR with 12 suites averaging 20 cases per day
• Handles complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics, peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid TEVAR/EVAR/TAVR, Impella, IABP, and ECMO
• Works alongside approximately 25 surgeons who regularly operate in the CVOR
• Uses Epic EMR
• Facility provides 24/7 in-house coverage with day and evening shifts of 8 or 10 hours
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required with a mandatory 30-minute call response time
• No floating required

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA
• BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of CV scrub experience required
• Must be able to go on bypass
• Minimum 2 years of overall surgical tech experience required
• License required if applicable
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
