Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients across all phases of care in the ICU setting
• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in accordance with standards of nursing practice
• Utilize theoretical concepts as a basis for clinical decision-making
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 within a 36-bed ICU unit
• Float to Stepdown unit as needed based on census
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NHSS certification preferred
• Experience with adult and geriatric ICU patient populations
