What You'll Do
As a CAD Civil 3D Technician, you will provide drafting, modeling, and design support for various water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare plan and profile drawings for utility and infrastructure projects.
• Support the design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Assist with pipeline alignments, utility layouts, grading plans, and site development plans.
• Create cross-sections, quantity calculations, and volume computations.
• Utilize survey data and as-built information to develop existing-condition models.
• Coordinate with engineers, survey teams, and project stakeholders.
• Organize project files and drawings according to company standards.
• Support quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
• Assist with project documentation and quantity estimating activities.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of CAD standards and workflows.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience creating and modifying civil engineering drawings.
• Ability to produce accurate plan and profile drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Utility infrastructure or pipeline design experience.
• Experience with gravity and pressure piping systems.
• Site development experience.
• Revit experience.
• BIM coordination experience.
• Experience with Bluebeam.
• Associate's Degree in CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and engineering design processes.
