Radiology - CT Tech

Computed Tomography Technologist

This position is scheduled for double shifts on Saturday from 4 PM to 7 AM and Sunday or Saturday from 11:30 PM to 7 AM and Sunday from 4 PM to 11:30 PM.

As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will utilize CT scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. You are expected to interpret physicians' scanning instructions accurately, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT scan equipment, and position patients correctly to capture the appropriate images.

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast materials as required by the scanning protocols.
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment with precision.
• Position patients correctly to ensure quality imaging.
• Assist with inpatient portables as needed during overnight shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School diploma; completion of an A.M.A approved school for radiologic technology.
• Advanced training in CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiography.
• Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in New York State.
• Current ARRT certification and advanced certification as an MRI technologist.
• Certification by NYS for contrast injections relevant to the job functions.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
