About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the daily operations of the airport, including the management of operational personnel and divisions such as capital development, maintenance, and operations & security. The COO will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the airport, as well as for maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. This critical leadership role also involves translating the airport's strategic plan into operational priorities, service standards, and performance expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10-12 years of progressive airport leadership experience, with a minimum of 5-6 years at the director level. Essential skills include a strong background in all aspects of airport management, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to lead and manage a diverse team. The successful candidate will be adept at problem-solving, critical thinking, and have a proven track record in human capital management. Special requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office, a valid driver's license, and industry certifications. The COO will be expected to demonstrate competencies in strategic safety stewardship, organizational integrity, and culture building, among others.
