Job Description

• CNC Machine Setup — Set up and run CNC mills/lathes using conversational programming to produce high-quality parts
• Program Adjustments — Edit programs and make real-time adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency
• Blueprint Interpretation — Read technical drawings to determine tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters
• First-Article Verification — Inspect initial parts and adjust setups to ensure conformance
• In-Process Inspections — Measure workpieces throughout production using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Documentation — Complete production, quality, and compliance documentation accurately
• Preventative Maintenance — Perform and record maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment
• Deburring — Deburr machined parts to meet quality and safety standards
• Shipping Support — Assist with packaging, shipping, and receiving as needed

Job Description

• 1+ years experience operating CNC machines
• Experience setting up mills/lathes with conversational programming
• Blueprint Reading Skills — Ability to interpret technical drawings and machining requirements
• Machine Setup Proficiency — Skilled in selecting tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters
• Inspection Expertise — Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Attention to Detail — Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality components

Work Environment & Schedule

• Production machining environment with CNC mills, lathes, precision inspection tools, and standard shop equipment
• First Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. (15% shift differential)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thornton, CO.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
