Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure manufactured parts meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role is ideal for someone with inspection experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, Micrometer and caliper skills with a background in fabrication, sheet metal, or welding environments.

This role pays up to $28 an hour with unlimited overtime!!!!

✅ Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and first article inspections

• Inspect formed sheet metal and welded components

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools

• Verify parts meet customer requirements and quality standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inspection experience

• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills

• Experience with First Article Inspection

• Experience with calipers and micrometers

• Fabrication, sheet metal, or welding inspection experience preferred

• Aerospace experience is a major plus

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
