Clinical Services Program Manager

Manages the Access and Emergency Services Department of a 24-7 preadmission screening unit. Works with internal and external organizations to improve behavioral health services in the community. Responsible for the planning, development and management of assigned programs, including the supervision of a 24-7 crisis intervention center, preadmission screening unit, enrollment/eligibility determinations, acute care management, service and support selection, medical necessity determinations, and care authorizations. May provide direct emergency services, such as preadmission screening, crisis intervention, and short-term counseling. May assist with the petitioning process.

Qualifications Master's Degree in social work preferred, or master's degree in a related clinical field with current Michigan license to practice. Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in behavioral health with professional experience in the supervision of mental health professionals and administration of mental health services is required, along with at least five years of progressively responsible professional experience providing crisis intervention and preadmission screening services to people with mental illness, children with severe emotional disturbances and/or persons with developmental disabilities. Possession of Substance Use Disorder credential is preferred.
