Are you an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician ready for your next opportunity in the apartment industry? PENN Apartment Staffing is hiring now!

We’re looking for dependable, skilled maintenance professionals with multifamily/apartment experience who can confidently lead daily maintenance operations, troubleshoot issues, and keep properties running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support daily maintenance operations at the apartment community
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
• Complete and oversee apartment make-readies to ensure they are ready on schedule
• Respond to and close service requests while maintaining accurate documentation
• Coordinate with property management regarding maintenance updates and resident concerns
• Assist with scheduling maintenance staff and ensuring emergency coverage
• Maintain accurate records for preventive maintenance, service requests, make-readies, inventory, and work in progress
• Coordinate with vendors and help ensure work is completed properly and on time
• Safely move appliances, equipment, and other heavy items when needed
• Maintain an adequate inventory of parts, supplies, and maintenance materials

What We’re Looking For

• Previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience required
• Lead Maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Reliable, professional, and dependable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• EPA/HVAC certification is a plus
