Mental Health Therapist

Role Description Hello! Welcome to True Pursuit. We are looking for a Full Time OR Part Time Mental Health Therapist to be based in one of our two New York City offices. In this role you will be able to provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to a diverse caseload across the lifespan, including toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults. Responsibilities Conducting intake assessments and engaging in weekly supervision Developing evidence-informed treatment plans in collaboration with clients and, when appropriate, their families. Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinating care with internal and external providers, and participating in case consultations or team meetings. Attending agency in-service training and staff meetings. Additional responsibilities may include crisis intervention, referrals to community resources, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive practice culture. Qualifications Bilingual Spanish therapists preferred. Licensed clinical professional (LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, or MHC-Limited Permit) in New York, obtained within 90 days from hire. Ability to commute to one of our NYC office locations at least 3 times a week. Cultural competence and commitment to gender-neutral, non-discriminatory, trauma-informed care. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload on-site. Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
