Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer Travel-Ready

Responsibilities Prepares and performs maternal fetal medicine ultrasound examinations on patients. Collaborates with physicians on examinations. Typical Physical Demands Walking, twisting body, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; reaching above and at shoulder level; repetitive arm/hand motions; static gripping of an object for prolonged periods; frequent gripping of an object. Continuous: sitting, reaching below shoulder level. Frequent: standing, stooping/bending, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds. Occasional: sitting, kneeling, climbing stairs, squatting, lifting and carrying weight of 10 pounds up to 20 pounds. Typical Working Conditions Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Must be flexible with schedule changes to meet operational needs. May require inter-island and outer-island travel to various QHS locations. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or related field preferred. Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Fetal Echocardiography (FE) preferred. Cervical Length Education and Review (CLEAR) credential preferred. Current BLS certification. Prior recent experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer in maternal fetal medicine or high-risk obstetrics in an acute healthcare facility preferred.
