Entry Level Architectural Designer

Overview Entry Level Architectural Design Professional in Fairfax, VA. Dewberry Architects, Inc. is seeking an energetic candidate to join our team in our Fairfax office. Dewberry's Architecture Practice offers an opportunity to begin applying design and technical skills to support a variety of clients and projects. Responsibilities As an entry-level professional, you will contribute to design development and support project teams across assignments. (Note: specific daily duties are defined by project needs and supervision.) Qualifications / Required Skills & Experience Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited university is required. Minimum of 1 year of internship experience with an architectural firm is required. Intern Development Program (IDP) process started with the goal of licensure. Competent in Revit (BIM), SketchUp and other modeling programs. Skilled in Creative Adobe Suite applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Knowledge of sustainable design principles is beneficial; LEED AP is a bonus. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A design portfolio or sampling of work will be required. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check.
