Duties
Help
Provide information and assistance based upon personal, written, or telephone inquires concerning both inpatient and outpatient medical care and medical care from civilian sources.
Research problems in the claims process by telephone or other methods to provide guidance concerning requirements for pre-authorizations, non-availability statements, and referrals.
Conduct benefit briefings to eligible beneficiaries at various installation functions.
Provide information on alternative sources of care, feasibility of treatment option, billing, claims processing, and entitlement.
Document process for tracking actions and resolving outstanding billing problems.
