Opportunity:


RN - Rehabilitation Nurse


Job Details:


• Work 12-hour variable shifts (6:00 AM-6:30 PM or 6:00 PM-6:30 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 10-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Patient ratio 1:4-1:6 during day shifts, 1:8 during night shifts
• 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Primary cases include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac patients
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• 1 year medical surgical rehabilitation experience preferred or medical/surgical background required
• Inpatient hospital setting experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA or ARC BLS
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Rehabilitation knowledge and skillset required
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours as needed
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy

The facility features a dedicated 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit that focuses on helping patients regain independence and functionality following stroke, trauma, cardiac events, and other debilitating conditions. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern technology including Epic charting systems to support optimal patient outcomes.
