The Mill Machinist must be able to produce high-quality products according to Triumph Gear Systems Mill Department operations manual.Duties/ResponsibilitiesClock in & out of appropriate job operationsRead and interpret blueprintsAdhere to job plans per job travelersSet-up multiple types of jobsOperate all mills and associated machines as assignedBasic Maintenance of millsFirst part quality inspectionsUse precision measurement equipmentConsistently produce quality partsAdhere to directions and instructions of direct supervisorOther duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required. 5 years' experience with set-up and operation of CNC Mill Knowledgeable of set-up requirements and operation of a horizontal and vertical CNC milling equipment Must be capable of reading blueprints, and manage job orders to required specifications Familiar with Fanuc controls and concepts of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniquesPhysical RequirementsAbility to use hand tools. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, or stretching Work may require bending, carrying, lifting up to 25 pounds, pulling, pushing, and standing.
