Insurance Underwriter - Excess & Surplus Lines - Springfield, MA

 

Commercial Property Underwriter Excess & Surplus Umbrella Casualty General Liability Professional Lines Broker Main Street Business Middle Market _ .

Leading insurance holding company seeks an Underwriter to build segment of business providing insurance to businesses throughout the country.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain broker partnerships.

• Develop strategies and goals for brokers and monitor performance.

• Select, underwrite, and price risks for new and renewal accounts.

• Set goals and key priorities to maximize value of franchise and broker production.

• Maintain a clear view of market conditions and competitive landscape. Utilize findings to improve company's product.

Experience Sought:

• 1+ years experience underwriting Commercial Excess and Surplus lines insurance

• Bachelors degree.
