Mechanical Technician Our client, a prominent facility management organization, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and maintenance activities. The ideal candidatewill demonstrate reliability, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mechanical Technician Location: Burnsville, MN What's the Job? Perform maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the building, systems, and equipment. Manage work orders related to plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to prevent system breakdowns. Support building automation and monitoring systems to ensure optimal operation. Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of one year of experience in general building repair and maintenance, including plumbing and electrical work. Valid driver's license. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 80 lbs, climbing ladders, and working at heights. Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. What's in it for me?
