Perkins Loan Analyst

Responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the Federal Perkins Loan portfolio, the full-time Perkins Loan Analyst will perform detailed borrower account analysis, process financial adjustments, and prepare financial reports while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Review and analyze borrower accounts to identify discrepancies and process complex account adjustments Reconcile the Perkins Loan servicing system with the institution's general ledger and prepare financial reports Ensure compliance with Federal Perkins Loan Program regulations and maintain audit-ready records for all financial transactions Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in loan balance reconciliation and responding to audits 1+ years of experience in a leadership role, coaching a team Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Department of Education 6C Security clearance Knowledge of loan accounting principles and federal regulations governing the Perkins Loan Program
