Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum of 3 years overall OR experience, Level 1 or Level 2 trauma level experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, DORA Must-Have: 3 years of OR experience Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience Experience with various surgical procedures Description:This position requires working in a busy operating room environment.The surgical technologist will assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons and nurses.Candidates must be able to scrub in and assist with a variety of surgeries, including general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastics.Must be available to work three night shifts per assignment.On-call responsibilities will include a maximum of three call shifts in an eight-week scheduling period.Flexibility is required to float between like units as needed.Pre-approved time off is limited to ten days for the duration of the contract.RTO is not allowed during specified peak periods.Completion of all necessary modules and training within the first week of the assignment is mandatory.Candidates must check their email regularly for updates and instructions regarding the assignments.Position may require adherence to additional facility-specific guidelines and protocols.All applicants must undergo a careful eligibility check based on prior employment with the health system. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
