Mobile Mechanic

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a mechanic who can diagnose problems, communicate with customers, and complete repairs independently in the field. This is a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys working outside of a traditional shop environment and wants the flexibility and variety that mobile repair provides. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles at customer locations and roadside Perform brake, suspension, steering, electrical, cooling, starting/charging, and engine repairs Perform preventative maintenance and general automotive services Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical and electrical problems Communicate professionally with customers and explain recommended repairs Provide accurate estimates and document completed work Maintain a clean and professional work environment Properly use and maintain tools and equipment Respond to roadside and emergency service calls when scheduled Work safely and independently in various weather and roadside conditions Qualifications Required: Previous professional automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Own professional hand tools Reliable transportation Valid Virginia driver’s license Ability to work independently Professional attitude and good customer-service skills Ability to safely perform mobile and roadside repairs Preferred: ASE certifications Diagnostic experience Electrical troubleshooting experience Experience with domestic, Asian, and European vehicles Diesel/heavy-duty or commercial vehicle experience Roadside assistance experience Experience working on trucks, vans, and semis
