Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform 1st piece, In-process & Final inspections of parts to drawings, work orders, customer instructions, and any other specifications.
- Visually inspect and measure parts using tape measure, caliper, and angle gage.
- Familiar with equipment calibration process, proper use, handling, maintenance and preservation of measuring equipment and gages.
- Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.
- Communicate quality problems and work with engineering and leads to support, investigate, and resolve quality issues.
- Assist in shipping functions such as counting, tagging, prepping, and loading. (Forklift experience required)
Requirements:
- 3 + years manufacturing (Quality background a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings (Manufacturing experience a plus).
- ISO experience a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
