Image Guided Surgery (IGS) Specialist

General Description:

Work directly alongside surgical teams to support the use of Image Guided Surgery (IGS) technology. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, comfort in a fast-paced OR environment, and the ability to provide technical support under pressure. You’ll set up and maintain navigation equipment, ensure seamless surgical workflow, and serve as a trusted liaison between Coast Surgical and our customers.

Average Workday:

• Coordinate daily caseload upon arrival at the facility to ensure proper coverage
• Set up IGS equipment prior to surgery
• Register patient using IGS equipment
• Troubleshoot IGS equipment during surgery
• Breakdown IGS equipment after surgery
• Upload records of each case and any changes to daily caseload before leaving the facility
• Medium duty work: Ability to move equipment around the facility

Job Requirements:

• Reside in Myrtle Beach
• B.A. or B.S. degree
• Medical field experience preferred
• IT systems experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments
• Strong public speaking and communication skills are required
• Enjoy interacting and participating in a team environment, can work autonomously
• Must be able to work on weekends and after office hours
• Basic understanding of Human Anatomy will be a plus point.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
• This role requires access to hospitals. Therefore you must maintain credentials at all required hospitals at all times. A complete vaccination record is required as an essential job function.
