Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Float Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• Float to assigned units as needed based on staffing and census demands
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and scheduling requirements, including limited time-off requests

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
• Ability to commit to an 8-week assignment with no more than three days of requested time off; no holiday time-off requests will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced acute care settings
