Physician ReviewerLocation: 100% RemoteDuration: 2+ Years Contract Position+ Contract to HireSchedule: 40hr, Mon-Fri, 8 am – 5.00 pm (Including at least 2 weekends per month).Pay Rate: $105.00 hr. on w2Job description:This is a remote position and a sedentary job that requires sitting in front of the computer to perform work.Physician medical reviewers evaluate clinical service requests based on company guidelines to make medical necessity determinations.Certification:Board Certified (ABMS) M.D. or D.O, unrestricted and active license to practice medicine requested and 5 years clinical experience to include inpatient experience, or any combination of education/experience that would provide an equivalent background.Must understand managed care and demonstrate PC proficiency, as file review will be done via computer in most cases.
