TravelNurseSource is working with TalentBurst, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in High Point North, North Carolina, 27265!

Title: Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location:  High Point North Carolina 27262

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12hr Day Shift - 36

Shift Information: 0700-1900

Clinical Interviewing- No

On Call, Call Back Requirements:  None

Weekend Rotation:  every other (currently operates Mon-Fri; occasional Saturday need)

Holiday Requirements:  Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements:  Minimal floating required, however could float to medical surgical unit, if needed

• Trauma Designated in process
• Teaching Hospital
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center
• Unit Information:
• 24 beds with avg length of stay of 1.2
• Beds:

• Total Hip and Total Knee replacement
• Bariatric surgery
• Urology surgical patients
• Spine Surgery
• GYN Procedures

• RN: 1:6
• CNA: 1:9

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – Resource Team requirement

• Experience with surgical patients
• Support within the Department:
• CNA: Yes at times
• Charge nurse
• Phlebotomy
• IV/VAT Team - No
• Resource Nurse, if needed
• RT 24/7
• Hospitalist 24/7, if needed
• Intensivist 24/7, if needed
• Telemetry monitoring/tech - yes
• Rapid response RN, if needed

• EMR: EPIC
• IV Pump: Alaris
• Med dispensing: Omnicell
• Monitors: Phillips
• Unit specific equipment: NA

• Minimal floating required, however could float to medical surgical unit, if needed
