Production Artist

Warehouse Production Technician (Art Manufacturing) Who We Are We design and produce original mixed media pop art at scale. Our operation runs on a warehouse-based production line built around the principles of lean manufacturing, efficiency, and continuous improvement. We are a performance-driven, creative team that blends craftsmanship with technology—leveraging digital systems to track production, optimize workflows, and push the boundaries of modern art manufacturing. We actively encourage the use of AI and automation tools to improve processes, increase output, and eliminate waste. Our systems are built for scale, with detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) that ensure consistency, quality, and efficient training across every workstation. Responsibilities As a Warehouse Production Technician, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Framing canvas artwork and assembling wood structures Collaging mixed media content with to the artwork Creating digital collage for the sides using Adobe Photoshop Painting and highlighting artwork using Acrylic paint Applying and finishing epoxy resin coatings Create stencils with exacto knives to apply glitter, paint, or diamond dust Building crates and packaging for shipping Preparing and protecting artwork for long-distance transport Following and continuously improving SOPs and Work Instructions for each workstation Using computer systems to track time, workflow progress, and production metrics Capturing high-quality final images of completed artwork using professional camera equipment Editing and preparing images using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Identifying inefficiencies and contributing to process improvements, including the use of AI tools Essential Job Functions Assemble frames and stretch canvases to specification Apply epoxy resin with precision and consistency Package artwork to meet shipping and protection standards Build custom crates and shipping containers Accurately log time and production data using workstation computers Follow established SOPs/WIs to ensure consistent quality and output Photograph finished pieces with proper lighting, framing, and consistency Perform basic image editing and file preparation using Adobe software Core Competencies Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship High level of efficiency and output Team-oriented with strong communication skills Ability to follow structured processes (SOPs/WIs) while identifying improvements Comfortable using computers, digital systems, and learning new technology (including AI tools) Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Ability to capture clean, consistent product photography Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks for extended periods High personal and team performance standards Requirements Comfortable operating power tools (chop saw, nail/staple guns, power drill) Able to operate or learn light industrial equipment and pneumatic tools Must be comfortable wearing PPE, including half/full-face respirators during resin application Ability to lift 50–75 lbs occasionally Preferred Experience Woodworking or framing experience Packaging and shipping experience Epoxy resin application experience Experience with product photography or studio lighting setups Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Experience working in a production line or lean manufacturing environment Physical Demands Lift and move up to 50 lbs (with reasonable accommodation) Stretch and secure canvases tightly across frames Stand or sit for extended periods Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motion Schedule Full-time (36–40 hours/week) Day shift, Monday–Friday Production floor start time: no later than 8:00 AM Compensation & Benefits Bonus pay opportunities based on performance 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Work Location In-person (warehouse environment) #J-18808-Ljbffr
