Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

School RNs and LPNs Needed

Spindle is actively hiring Registered Nurses to support students 1:1.. These roles are ideal for compassionate professionals who want to make a meaningful impact while working in a structured school setting.
This is a per diem, as-needed position with shifts available based on school coverage needs.

Position Responsibilities

Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
Provide 1:1 assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
Assist students with medical needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements ( School Compliance)
To work in schools, you must meet the following requirements:

An active RN or LPN license
At least a High school diploma or GED
At least 18 years of age
TB test (per district requirements)
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
Clearances must be current or willing to obtain prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience a plus (not required)
Reliable, patient, and team-oriented mindset
