Quality Associate Scientist

Waters Corporation (following BD Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions combination) seeks a Quality Associate Scientist to perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in a regulated laboratory environment. The role involves microbiological testing, cleanroom operations, equipment maintenance, and documentation in compliance with GMP/GDP/GLP standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products per SOPs
- Conduct testing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and similar organisms in BSL-3 laboratory containment with strict safety adherence
- Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment for accurate and reliable testing
- Document test results, observations, and activities in laboratory records and electronic systems such as SAP
- Support out-of-specification investigations and participate in SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related Life Science
- 1 year practical experience in microbiological or medical technology laboratory
- Strong understanding of GMP/GDP/GLP regulations and quality management systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
