Role will start Summer 2026

Responsibilities

• Execute complex pastry items such as laminated doughs, plated desserts, and specialty cakes.
• Monitor quality and presentation standards for all pastry products.
• Train and mentor junior pastry cooks on techniques and procedures.
• Assist in seasonal dessert menu development and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production for service.
• Follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare pastry items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards
• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs
• Operate and maintain clean kitchen equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–4 years of pastry experience in a high-volume or fine-dining environment.
• Proficiency in advanced pastry techniques and decorative skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead by example.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to push, pull lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This includes holidays and weekends.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
