Travel RN – OB / Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Newborn Nursery

⏰ Schedule & Weekly Hours

• Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Shift Length: Typically 12-hour shifts (confirm with facility)
• Weekly Hours: Based on facility scheduling during the 7-on rotation

Unit Coverage

This position covers the full OB service line, including:

• Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Postpartum
• Mother-Baby Unit
• Newborn Nursery

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of OB RN experience
• Must be comfortable working across:
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Postpartum
  • Nursery
  • Mother-Baby

Additional Requirement

• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg and care for Med-Surg patients when OB census is low

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

EMR

• Paragon Charting System

Dress Code

• No required scrub color

• Comfortable caring for mothers and newborns throughout the continuum of care
• Flexible with census fluctuations
• Willing to assist on Med-Surg when OB volume is low
• Comfortable with rotating weekends
• Independent and adaptable in a rural/community hospital environment
