The Opportunity:

St. Joseph's / Candler Hospital is the region's leader in delivering babies. Candler Hospital has 25 expansive mother/baby rooms and 14 labor and delivery rooms. This Hospital has also received prestigious international recognition as a Baby-Friendly Designated birth facility and received recognition from Baby-Friendly USA, the U.S. authority for the implementation of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative ("BFHI"). It also has a Level II NICU and in house obstetrical anesthesiologists. St. Joseph s / Candler Hospital currently sees approximately 2,820 annual deliveries.
OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.
This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.
