Unit/Department: Emergency Room

Shift: 07:00 PM-07:30 AM | Weekends: Every other weekend/holiday | Call: No specific call requirement

Requirements

• License: New York State RN
• Certs: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Experience: 5 years in Emergency Department
• EMR: EPIC
• Compliance: Facility physical required; Flu required
• Locals: Cannot reside in specific NY counties
• RTO Policy: Local policy applies

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct crisis evaluations for mental health patients.
• Perform ECG exams as required by the facility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately in EMR.

Notes

• Facility has county residency restrictions.
• Must complete an ECG exam with an 85% pass rate to maintain contract.
• Study materials for ECG will be provided prior to start.
