Your workday runs from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, aligning with the academic schedule and maintaining a structured routine ideal for student progress.

Requirements and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certificate is required.
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially working with students on the autism spectrum.
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, families, and support personnel.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, patient, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to students’ needs based on IEP goals.
• Collaborate with PCAs and other professionals to maximize student engagement and learning.
• Track academic, social, and behavioral progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with families.
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school-based initiatives.
