Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care CT Tech experience License: Active licensure in Kansas Certifications: ARRT (R) & BLS Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience - ARRT (R) certification - BLS certification - Active licensure in Kansas Description: The CT Tech role involves working in a busy department averaging around 130 CT scans per day. The facility is a large, trauma level 1 and primary stroke center. Staffing is 24/7, including a lead tech and three techs during dayshift. A split shift runs from 9 AM to 9 PM along with one night shift tech. The equipment includes GE scanners with 64 slices and above, as well as PACS and EMR systems. Typical procedures performed include CTA of the chest, neck, and abdomen, as well as cardiac studies and CT head stroke protocols. Candidates should be dependable and able to work collaboratively with other departments. The dress code consists of black scrubs, which are not provided. Teamwork and a supportive work environment are emphasized.
